‘Ghetto Youth’ is the first release of the Riddim Batch catalogue, the brand new Numa Recordings series focused on reggae and dancehall vibes. This time, Numa Crew reinterprets and builds a cross-over between two iconic old-skool jamaican classics: 'Shine and Criss Riddim' and the 'Darker shade of black Riddim' voiced by the the heaviest MCs in the Numa entourage.
The release includes three versions in different styles: It starts with ‘Executer’, an old school flavored gunman tune still with an irie and positive twist, created by the great combo of London’s MCs as Big Chain, and the UK grime legends Killa P and Irah, 90’s dancehall flavored.
Then comes ‘Fire inna di danz’, a party tune in a future style by one of the two Numa Crew’s mcs, XL Mad. The third track is by the young Italian deejay from the Adriatic coast, Mannaro Man in ‘Glimmity Glammity', a gyallist Raggamuffin tune that strongly evokes the sound of the 80’s Ragga era.
