After a long series of 140 BPM driven smashing hits Numa Recordings kicks off the new year with a different twist. We are proud to present “Original Shape EP” a high - octane release which covers the full spectrum of Drum’n’Bass. From Jungle to Futuristic Jump Up produced by Numa Crew member T-Kay this is one for the heads!
First track of the Ep is “Original Shape”, the title track takes us back to the original sound of Jungle with ambient pads, heavy weight 808 and classic vintage breaks. Following is “The Pirate License”: a journey into a retro - futuristic soundclash filled with alien foghorns, minimal drums and old school basses.
The third tune of the Ep is “Rub It Scrub It”, a A Jump Up - Roller(ish) tune with squelchy synths and hard hitting drums all mixed in a 90’s dark d’n’b atmosphere. Completing the Ep is “Smoke Di Highgrade” a ragga - roller track with old fashion skanks and fuzzy basslines with vocals by Numa Crew’s MCs XL Mad and Ninjaz MC.
